ABOUT AAPSG
Formed in 1985, AAPSG (African American Parent Support Group) is a group who advocates on behalf of the African American students and students of the Black diaspora in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All are welcome and encouraged to participate, benefit, and become a sponsor for AAPSG programs and activities.
For over 37 years, AAPSG’s mission has been to work in partnership with the school district, parents, students and the community, to create programs for students in grades K-12 that will enhance positive self-esteem and promote cultural diversity in curriculum and instruction programs. AAPSG also works in partnership with the school district to ensure that our children have the necessary tools to achieve academic excellence in a safe, caring and welcoming environment that challenges students academically while also supporting their social and emotional needs in the West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District.
AAPSG also serves our community by volunteering at places such as the Anchor House Youth Shelter and the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK).
